"Too much hassle for barely any results"
I tried this twice the rust is still there. There were way too many steps for something that barely made a difference, and by the end I was just frustrated. Disappointing overall, and I wouldn’t buy it again

"I was really hoping the treatment would improve..."
I was really hoping the treatment would improve the finish, but it came back looking worse. There were patchy marks and dull spots that weren’t there before. When I brought it up, I felt more like a ticket number than an actual customer. Disappointing experience overall.

"I really thought this was going to..."
I really thought this was going to be straightforward, so I don’t think I was expecting too much. But applying it was kind of messy and frustrating for me. It didn’t spread smoothly, and I kept having to go back over certain spots to fix them. Maybe there’s some trick to it that I missed, but I did follow what seemed like the obvious steps. It just wasn’t easy for me to use.

I didnt expect to go through it so fast, but I ended up using the whole bottle. It just didnt seem like a little was enough.

The results came in fast, faster than I thought they would. There was one small delay, but it wasn’t a big deal, and I figured that kind of thing can happen sometimes anyway.

"Shipping was slower than expected"
I ordered from rustreaper.com, and the shipping took a lot longer than I thought it would. The item itself was fine, so no real complaint there. Anyway, the wait was frustrating and kind of took away from the whole experience.

"Nice product, if it can survive the box"
My order showed up in this flimsy little box with barely any padding, so of course the corners were crushed and everything was sliding around inside. I guess the packaging was impressively minimal, if that’s what they were going for. For the price, it just felt careless. I won’t be ordering again.

"Refund showed up eventually"
My return got accepted without any real issue, but the refund took longer than I thought it would. A bit frustrating. Support did get back to me, just after a couple days. Not a terrible experience overall. Just slower than it should’ve been.

I gave rustreaper.com a try because I thought it would make things easier, but i just kept thinking, why is this so complicated? For what they charge, I expected way better results. It wasn’t terrible, but nothing really stood out, and I still ended up spending extra time fixing things myself. Maybe other people get more value out of it, but for me it felt like I paid too much for something that didn’t really save me much effort.

To be fair, it did seem to work well at first, so I don’t want to say it was completely useless. But after a little while, the rust started showing up again, which was disappointing. I expected it to hold up longer than it did

"Didn’t last like they make it sound"
I bought this from rustreaper.com because the site made it seem like it was built to hold up, but that feels like just more polished company talk now. I used it normally, nothing heavy or rough, and it still started falling apart way sooner than it should have. Some of the parts already feel cheap and flimsy. Disappointed with the durability and I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Worked well for the jobs I needed"
I used it on my bike frame and a few rusty patio bolts, and it did the job without messing up the paint. It was simple to use and actually helpful for small fixes around the house. I’d still test it on a hidden spot first, just to be safe.

"Smell was just too strong"
I picked this up to deal with some rust, and maybe it works fine, but the smell was way stronger than I expected. As soon as I used it, my garage just felt gross and I had to open everything up because I didn’t really feel comfortable breathing it in. I don’t know, maybe if you’re working outside it’s different, but for me... yeah, I wouldn’t buy it again.

It was okay overall. Nothing was really wrong with it, but nothing stood out that much either. I was feeling mentally drained at the time, so maybe that affected my experience a bit, but it just felt decent, not amazing

Maybe I’m being picky, but I don’t think expecting a basic response is too much. Support barely got back to me, and when they did, it wasn’t really that helpful.
